To finalize your vacation, our on-site property manager will fax you a confirmation letter. This letter must be reviewed and, if all information is correct, signed and faxed back. A cheque for $2500 must then be mailed to:

Terms and Conditions

All pre-paid rents, deposits and purchases shall be considered earned and therefore be retained by the Cottages at Secret Point. Guests will take care and respect the accommodations that have been rented through the Cottages at Secret Point. Guests agree to report IMMEDIATELY, any damage found or caused, to the on site manager. The Cottages at Secret Point caters to families and mature adult groups. No noise after 10:30pm

Deposit
For all periods, a deposit equivalent to 30% of the property’s rental price is due upon booking your reservation, plus a $250.00 damage deposit.

Damage Deposit
You must report any suspicious damage that you notice immediately to the on site manager when you arrive at the property so that you will not be charged for those damages.

The Cottages at Secret Point Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received in writing by fax more than 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less the 30% deposit paid at the time of booking. Modifications to the reservation made more than 45 days prior to arrival may be possible and are subject to an administration charge of $100, which is waived in the case of an upgrade. Cancellations received in writing 30 days or less prior to arrival are subject to a forfeiture of all monies paid/received. Modifications to the reservation made 45 days or less prior to arrival may be possible are subject to an administration charge of $100, which is waived in the case of an upgrade. Modified reservations are non-refundable. A reduction in nights will be considered a cancellation and subject to the cancellation policies contained herein.

Substitution
In case of fire, sale or similar events, The Cottages at Secret Point reserves the right to substitute another similar property for the one which has been booked. If no similar property is available, The Cottages at Secret Point reserves the right to return all monies paid.

Rates
$2500.00 per week including taxes.

Number in Party
The maximum number of guest per property must not exceed the posted capacity. There is also an extra person charge that is applied. Two bedrooms sleep five people and three bedrooms sleep eight people.

Pets
One house trained pet allowed in Cottage 15 ONLY. An extra $50.00 cleaning charge will be applied.

Smoking
No smoking is permitted inside any of The Cottages at Secret Point. A $200.00 fine will be deduted from the damage deposit if there is a smoking violation.

Check-in/Check-out
Check-in: 3:00pm. Check-out: 11:00 am sharp. Late check-ins: If you are unable to arrive before 6:00pm, please contact our office in advance to make special arrangements.

Cleaning of property
Guests are required to complete the cleaning requirements that are posted in each accommodation prior to checking out. These requirements include washing and putting away all dishes, leaving accommodations organized and tidy, and taking all garbage to the disposal site. Please remember that the damage deposit will be applied to the cost of additional cleaning at a fee of $100.00. A lost key fee of $50.00 will be deducted from the damage deposit if keys are missing upon departure.

The owners and agents of The Cottages at Secret Point shall not be held liable for any damage, injuries, illness or weather related problems or any circumstances beyond their control occurring during or affecting a guest’s reservation or stay.

Contract between The Cottages at Secret Point and Guests
This confirmed reservation by way of fax represents notice to guest of these terms and unless the guest cancels within a period of 48 hours of this faxed confirmation, they are deemed to have read and agreed to the above mentioned.
